How quickly can our order be with us?
Please allow seven working days for products that have been printed with
your artwork or custom made with your text instructions.
School merit badges and committee badges are usually despatched

I'm not sure if the artwork I have is suitable?
If you do not have suitable artwork, or are not sure, please contact us
by email to discuss your requirements.
Our design studio can prepare ready to use artwork for you from basic
sources such as a letterhead or cloth badge, or even a rough sketch.
We can also edit existing artwork to suit your needs, such as adding text
around a crest, or adding colours to a design.
Please read our artwork guidelines first, but if you are unsure please
send what you have and we can offer advice.

I have ordered before and now need another batch.
Do I need to resend my artwork?
No, we keep all designs on file for future reference and for your
convenience. Please quote job title (wording on the badge/keyring)
when re-ordering. [back to top]
We have a logo but I need to add / edit some text.
Can you do this for me?
Yes, that's not a problem. Email your instructions and we can supply
a PDF layout for approval. If you require a particular font please let us
know, otherwise our standard is ARIAL BOLD  [back to top]  
Are there any origination or set-up fees?
We charge a one-off fee, usually 6.50 - 20 (depending on the complexity)
for studio editing services. We will advise you by email of this amount before
proceeding. A charge is only made if your artwork is not suitable.

What are the carriage costs?
Carriage is charged at cost and is weight based, so will be between
 3.20 - 26.50 for UK mainland addresses. We use Royal Mail first class
service for smaller packets, and DPD 24hr service for larger consignments.
Express order and delivery option is also available (see above). 
For overseas addresses we use Royal Mail air mail service for smaller
packets, and DHL or TNT for larger consignments. The cost will be

We want to buy both pin badges and keyrings with our logo on, do we get a quantity discount?
Yes, you can mix badges, keyrings and cufflinks and receive
the quantity discount for all items combined. [back to top]
I am having difficulty uploading my artwork.
Unfortunately, uploading is restricted to the following formats -
bmp, jpg , gif , tif , png. Please email artwork seperately if you
are using another format. [back to top]
I wanted to order a family crest product but the Surname
required is not on your database. Can I still order?
Yes, just email us the best possible artwork you have and we can
work from that. A PDF version will be sent to you for approval of

We prefer not to use online ordering/payment.
Can we still order from you?
We will email a pro-forma invoice for payment and you can
pay this either by credit/debit card over the phone, by bacs,
online here, or by cheque. We are unable to despatch goods
until payment has cleared unless you have an approved
credit account. 30 day credit accounts are available for

How do we pay for an order not placed online?
Yes, all you need to do is send an email with your artwork
attached to sales@badgecompany.co.uk with the following info -
- Your name and your Organisation's name
- The delivery address for your order
- A Phone number if we need to contact you
- Items and quantities required

Why is the price I see in the cart lower than the quoted price?
For your convenience, prices are quoted inclusive of vat and
carriage. Item cost, carriage charges and vat are broken down
and listed seperately in the shopping cart, but the invoice total

Do you ship orders to non-UK addresses?
We are a School with an official purchase order.
Can we order online now and pay later?
What is the minimum order quantity for custom made badges?
The minimum order for badges with your own artwork is 25.
If you need a smaller amount of badges than this, you can order bar,
round, shield or star badges with your own text here...
Can you make badges in any shape or size?
No. We only supply badges in the sizes and shapes in our range of
34 badge backs. [back to top]
Where can I read your terms and conditions?
We accept online orders from Schools with official purchase orders.
Just select the 'Schools purchase order' payment button on the
checkout page. We will send an invoice with your goods.
This invoice must be paid within 30 days please.
This option is only available to UK based Schools and Colleges
with official purchase orders. [back to top]
Yes we are happy to ship orders worldwide. Carriage charges
will be calculated and added at checkout when you tell us where
you are based. Non-EU international customers are not liable for
VAT (sales tax). VAT registeres EU customers will be asked to
provide their VAT number or will be charged VAT. [back to top]

I need my badges in a rush! is there any way to expedite my order? 
You can speed up the ordering process by selecting the option
'Express order and delivery' under shipping options in the shopping cart.
This will ensure your order is-
1. Given top priority throughout processing
2. Sent by DPD 24 hr (signed for) when ready for despatch,
instead of our normal delivery service Royal Mail 1st class
(not signed for).
